Brightening Up My Home Office with Wallpaper
Hey there! I recently gave a little refresh to my home office by adding some gorgeous wallpaper, and I’m thrilled with the way it turned out! It’s now my second favorite spot in our home, just after my son’s nursery, which also has some adorable wallpaper.
I teamed up with Spoonflower to try out their newly updated peel and stick wallpaper, and let me tell you, it’s the best I’ve ever used! The design I fell in love with is called Wildflowers by writtenbykristen.
This wallpaper is top-notch quality and doesn’t feel flimsy at all, even though it’s super easy to remove. I took care of the smaller pieces myself, but had a professional help hang the main wallpaper on the wall. She mentioned it was much easier to work with than other peel and stick wallpapers she’s encountered—such a glowing review!
What’s Awesome About Spoonflower Peel and Stick Wallpaper?
- High Quality: This is thick, textured wallpaper that feels durable and far from cheap.
- Smooth Application: Since it’s peel and stick, there’s no messy glue involved. Simply remove the backing, press it to your surface, and smooth it out. Easy peasy!
- Made in the U.S.A: Spoonflower’s wallpapers are free from harmful chemicals and totally safe for your home.
- Customizable: They print your chosen design digitally, which means you get exactly what you want in the quantity you need.
Why Opt for Peel and Stick Over Traditional Wallpaper?
- Flexibility: If you’re someone who likes to switch things up regularly or you’re renting, this option is perfect since it’s easy to change without leaving any damage.
- Versatility: You can use it on more than just walls! I used it on a bulletin board and some storage bins in my office. It could also look great on cabinets, dressers, stairs, and other smooth surfaces.
Adding these little touch-ups really made my office feel cohesive without being too matchy-matchy. I adore this wallpaper’s subtle design—it fits perfectly with our home’s vibe! Plus, I love how many independent artists you can support through Spoonflower, and the variety of styles and colors available is fantastic.
If you’re working with smaller items, I recommend making a template first. Use some old wrapping paper or packing paper, cut out the template, and then use that to cut the wallpaper. If you can, cut a line down the center of just the backing to make it easier to apply from the center outwards.
How Long Will It Last?
Peel and stick wallpaper can last just as long as traditional wallpaper, so no worries there. As long as it doesn’t get damaged by external factors like water leaks, it should stay pristine for years.
I’m in love with my new office wallpaper! It adds the right amount of color, texture, and interest without being too distracting—perfect for a workspace. Thanks for letting me share this with you! - Emma
P.S. My sister Elsie also used Spoonflower’s peel and stick wallpaper in her daughters’ room, and it turned out absolutely adorable! Here’s the cute retro pattern she chose!
