Last Updated:Hey there! Today, I’m excited to share my favorite paint color with you, along with lots of example photos from my home. Say hello to Sherwin Williams Marshmallow – it’s a bright, warm white that I absolutely love.
Whenever I’m looking for a fresh, clean, and simple white, SW 7001 is my go-to. I even used it on my first big project, painting exterior brick!

If you’re on the hunt for a white paint color that’s slightly warm without leaning beige, Marshmallow is a winner. I didn’t want anything that would look cool or yellow. SW 7001 offers a bright, light feel with just the right warm undertones. I’ve painted it throughout my entire home—twice! In this post, you’ll see how versatile it can be in different spaces.

Light Reflective Value
The LRV for Marshmallow (SW 7001) is 82%, putting it on the brighter side of the off-white spectrum. It looks bright white in well-lit spaces but has a touch of light, warm “greige” with a hint of beige.
Notice how this color changes with the room’s lighting. I’ve found Marshmallow to pair well with any color I place next to it.
Exterior Painted with SW 7001
Here’s the exterior of my previous home painted with SW Marshmallow. In our area, lots of homes have white painted brick, but some look too stark when using untinted white. Choosing a color with undertones that blend naturally makes a big difference.
